My first post & a VSCode plugin

vscode, coding, software-engineering

Yeap! first post from the posts array. Well I have got something to tell you.

Today I came across a VS Code plugin, which is also available for chrome. The problem that plugin is solving is very shameful to us, the developers. It’s name is Stenography, I don’t how that dude came up with that name and I also don’t know meaning of it.

The plugin, when added, showed HTML/XML like tags in code everywhere it sees. When clicking on that tag which somewhat looked like this <stenography/>, open up a notification in vscode which contains the human readable (in natural language like English) text that tells what a specific function doing and how it is doing. A clever use of natural language processing maybe? But it’s shameful that purpose of that plugin is to tell what a complex piece of code is doing.

That was it for today, I may have many sentences for this alone, but I would just write that, which is enough for most of you to ponder upon. Till the next post, keep reading!
